It only seems fair to mention my other favourite brand, Hurtta, since I did the post about Ruffwear last week. I love both brands and I am always trying to find an excuse as to why I need to buy the newest gear.
I found the brand when looking for a well fitting, warm, durable winter coat for Bobby, for a winter trip to Scotland. He feels the cold more now that he is older  but I didn’t  want him missing out on the fun. I bought the extreme warmer and I was more than pleased with it. In true Scottish style our trip was cold and wet and we loved it! especially Bobby who was keeping toasty warm and looking good.Â
I also bought Sacha a new harness for the trip because you can never have too many, plus I didn’t want him feeling left out. I went with the active harness which comes with a detachable saddlebag so your dog can carry their own gear or just use it as a harness. I was really impressed with the quality and how well it fitted, it is now one of my ‘go to’ harnesses for any adventure. I have been really impressed with everything from them and use the mountain training leads daily, I like to have the double clips it makes it so much more versatile.Â
So when  Todd came to join the family it was no surprise he needed to be kitted out with his own Hurtta gear too, starting with his very own Hurtta extreme warmer, which has been brilliant with the snow we have had.Â
If you want to have a look at all the lovely gear Hurtta has to offer here is a link to their website https://www.hurtta.com/global_en/ . There are a few uk stockists now, my favourite of these is active hound, brilliant customer service and I never have to wait long for my parcels to arrive. https://www.activehound.co.uk
Give your dog the chance to run off trail!
